In short
- Jhamgat helps friends plan outings and keep track of shared costs. It never holds or moves money.
- A payment counts as paid only when the person who received it confirms it.
- Be honest, be kind, and only add things you have the right to share.
Your account
You sign in with your own mobile number. You're responsible for what happens in your account, so keep your phone locked. You must be at least 13 years old to use Jhamgat.
Money
- Jhamgat is a record-keeping tool. You send and receive money in your own bank or wallet app, under their terms.
- We can't see, confirm, stop or reverse a transfer. If a transfer fails or goes to the wrong person, contact your bank or wallet provider.
- Balances in the app are only as accurate as the bills and payments your group enters. Check before you pay.
- Deleting your account or leaving a group doesn't cancel what you owe or are owed.
What you share
You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to store it and show it to the people you shared it with, so the app can work.
Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, misleading or someone else's private information, and don't use Jhamgat for scams, gambling or collecting money from strangers. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and you can report anything that does.
The service
Jhamgat is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by payments you make or by wrong amounts entered by group members. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
